Kinematics analysis of mechanisms in CATIA Digital Mockup Kinematics Workbench is discussed in this video which includes, discussion of degrees of freedom and types of constraints, automatic and manual conversion of assembly constraints to joints, calculating and analyzing the degrees of freedom with and without commands, adding a command to a joint, angle-driven vs length-driven joints, animating the motion, frames per second, step time, replay and simulation compilation, swept volume, trace analysis, clash, distance, and band analysis, creating motion commands based on a law (formula), speed and acceleration analysis, and creating customized plots in it.
