Kaitlynd had five knee surgeries in Boston, but was still in pain. During a chance encounter with University Orthopedics Physical Therapist Terry Moreno Toste, Terry suggested Kaitlynd see Dr. Brett Owens, who performed a meniscal allograft transplantation.
