Friedrich Nietzsche and Ayn Rand are often seen as having identical philosophies. In this podcast, Dr. Hicks, argues that, while on a first reading there seems to be overlap between the two thinkers, they are actually very different in their positions on free will, the objectivity of ethics, the role of reason and individualism vs. collectivism.
