INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO PREPARE Kakro KO ACHAR / ALOO KO ACHAR. (Potato Salad pickle)
- 3 boil Potatoes
- 4 tbsp Cooking oil
- 3 tbsp Sesame seeds, first toasted and then grated in grinder (Brown Powder)
- 1/2 tbsp Fenugreek seeds (Methi)
- ¼ table spoon Turmeric powder
- 1/3 cup Coriander leaves
- 4 Green chilies chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 cup yellow peas
- 2 cup Cucumber or more as per your wish
- 1 Lemon or Lapsi ko chuk
- Red Chilli Paste
DESCRIPTION FOR Aalu ko achar:
Aalu ko Achar / Aloo ko Achar / Kakro ko achar is all time favourite Nepali dish. It is very famous in every household in Nepal. Mainly it is prepared in special occasions. Alu ko achar goes very well with rice, pulao, chiura (beaten rice) and Roti.
I made this video especially for Tihar because it is enjoyed by every Nepalese with all the varieties of Roti prepared for tihar.
Of course all the men enjoy it too :-)
