TopBraid Enterprise Data Governance (TopBraid EDG) makes it possible to manage a govern a complete range of assets and also to connect multiple types of data governance assets that are needed to enable people to answer questions such as: “Where does this data come from?”
In regulatory compliance reporting, it is critical to be able to prove to authorities where did the data you reported came from. In this demo, we look at an example from finance - the Federal Reserve form FR Y-9C. But the same kinds of lineage requirements and capabilities are needed and would apply to other regulatory compliance reporting forms and processes, such as the Federal Reserve’s CCAR and the GDPR from the European Commission.
Data lineage tracking for regulatory reporting is challenging. This demo, shows how easy it is, with TopBraid EDG, to track lineage for an individual data value on the FR Y-9C to the data elements it is derived from - by just following the connections.
