It is at its heart a love letter from him and every part of his family lucky enough to have known John William Parkinson.

In conversation with his son, Sir Michael and Mike share their individual viewpoints on this most remarkable of men as well as examine their own relation and how they have fared in their own Father and son story. Throughout the event, they are aided by photos from the family archive as well as footage from the Parkinson show which helped inform and inspire the book.
