HOW DOES THE VESSEL WORK WHEN DP SYSTEM ON FOLLOW TARGET MODE VIDEO

Let's take a look at one of the Dynamic Positioning Operation mode the DP system has, which is the Follow Target mode or follow sub-mode as one of the term onboard they are using. Follow Target mode is one of the most convenient mode on the dynamic positioning system especially when carrying surveys such as pre-lay surveys, as laid surveys, and other ROV surveys where follow target is convenient to use. But How does the vessel works when DP system on Follow Target mode? How does the dp vessel works on this mode? The Follow target mode enables the vessel to automatically follow a moving target. In this video the ROV with the ROV beacon which is on a monitor or used on follow target is the one continuously moving and the vessel keeps on following on the direction where it is moving.
