For more Camino videos click here: / @rolfscaminos Subtitled: English, Spanish Português Guide PDF Free at: bit.ly/3v2nCfH This video is about a 20 day - 675 km walk along the Camino de Santiago from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela, along the Camino Português da Costa, where we pass through Santarem, Tomar, Coimbra, Porto, Vila do Conde, Viana de Castelo, Caminha, Baiona, Vigo, Padron and experience some spectacular scenery along the way. The Camino de Santiago, known in English as the Way of St. James, is a network of pilgrims' ways or pilgrimages leading to the shrine of the apostle Saint James the Great in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the saint are buried. The Camino Português (Portuguese Way) is one of the more popular of the routes, with deep-rooted historical tradition. Typically it takes at least four weeks to cover the 675 km long route, allowing for a few days rest days along the way, but most pilgrims start the Camino Português walk at Porto, as it only takes about 14 days to walk the 260 km Central Route including rest days.
