The recently signed Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, Brandin Cooks, caused quite a stir for team owner Jerry Jones when he took two of his star teammates on a flight in a Cirrus aircraft ahead of the preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Jerry Jones expressed his displeasure with Cooks for bringing Parsons and Gilmore on the plane trip, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding his key players. Both Cooks and Gilmore were acquired by the team through trades in the offseason, and Parsons has already earned two All-Pro selections in just his first two seasons.

Jones remarked, "I must address Cooks for embarking on that airplane journey with some of our key team assets. I must admit, I'm relieved I wasn't aware of it at the time. In my view, relying on part-time pilots is not the prudent choice," as reported by Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Forth Worth Star-Telegram.
