Webinar Objectives

At the conclusion of the course, the participants should be able to:

Understand the definitions of T1 and T2 relaxation (Intrinsic Tissue Parameters), TR, TE, Flip Angle, TI and ETL (Intrinsic Scan Parameters) affect image contrast. The concepts of the “Image Quality Triangle”, and the “Image Weighting Triangle” will be explained.
The Technologist will better understand the various Geometric scan parameters and their effects on Signal to Noise, and Resolution.
The student will better understand the structure of the various “line Diagrams” or PSDs, the order of events in a sequence and what makes each sequence unique. In addition, the attendee will have a better understanding and be able to perform/solve the various “math” problems that may be asked during advanced certification exams.
At the end of this section, the participant will better understand the cause and corrections of artifacts commonly seen in everyday MR scanning.
