Home Made Pelton Wheel

The Pelton Wheel is part of a micro-hydro generator that looks like a fan. The wheel captures the energy of water by scoops pushed by high pressure. Home Made Volts has designed an easy to make Pelton Wheel out of materials found at your local hardware store. Manufactured Pelton Wheels can cost up to a few hundred dollars but you can make your own here for less than $20.
