TANGRAM x CMA CGM: the sustainable shipping and logistics of the future

TANGRAM is a stand-out facility designed by the CMA CGM Group to create the sustainable shipping and logistics of the future.

The name comes from a Chinese puzzle that requires creativity and deep thinking. TANGRAM is a new collaborative venue designed to take on two main challenges—developing skills and accelerating innovation. Its goal is to transform the shipping and logistics sector so the CMA CGM Group can rise to the key challenges of performance, the energy transition and the development of world trade. These ambitious goals are encapsulated in TANGRAM’s “Together, we shape tomorrow” tagline.

The facility is scheduled to open in late 2023 and will bring together experts and new arrivals joining the Group, start-ups and large corporations, managers and employees, students and researchers, customers and partners.

TANGRAM, designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, is being built on the site of the former Ecole Nationale Supérieure Maritime in Pointe Rouge at the entrance to the Parc National des Calanques park.
