She's is now the Executive Director of Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in Singapore (IBN). She converted to Islam about 16 years ago. Impressive achievement - she became the youngest full professor at MIT, at the age of 35.
In this interview Prof Jackie Ying among other things spoke about science and Malays and why she chose to embrace Islam. Interesting and frank chat with Prof Jackie Ying. Good to watch.
