ASMR book repair/conservation

This is a little experimental but I thought someone might enjoy my job as much as I do! I had previously filmed myself removing watercolor resist but the room was noisy and the audio subpar. When I come into the conservation department at 9am, though, I'm generally the only one there.
This book is almost 120 years old! I'm sure this is not the original cover but the pages (removed before I started filming- not a particularly interesting process) have beautiful gold edging.
What I'm doing here is removing a pocket that was glued into the cover and cleaning the spine for clean adhesion to a new tube spine. This was a relatively extensive repair for my level (7+ hours), and much of that time was spent removing conservation attempts done in the past such as the pocket (an artifact of a system we no longer use) and this mesh that was loosely holding the bound pages to the cover.
Such is the nature of conservation- we are always discovering better ways to preserve books and art, and people are going to be continuously removing what ever conservationist were doing 30 years ago when the piece last needed care.
