Hello friends in this video we have done -
Acid and base test with natural indicators | china rose petals and turmeric test with acid and base.
Litmus test with acid and base . Class 10 chemistry practical.

we can take base as normal house surf , and acid as lemon juice as it contains acetic acid.
1.
In first test , we have to make turmeric powder solution in two glass then mix base and acid one by one in respective glasses.
conclusion - yellow colour of the
glass turns into reddish brown when mixed with base
and yellow colour of other glass solution becomes same (no change in colour) when mixed with acid.
2.
In 2nd test , we have to take few coloured petals of China rose and crush it. and make a solution out of it in two plate.
Now mix acid and base one by one in respective plates.
Conclusion - one solution turns into green colour when mixed with base.
another solution turns light pink when mixed with acid.
