There is no such word as 'Yes' in Thai by Stuart Jay Raj

Many learners of Thai mistakenly think that the word 'chai' ใช่ means yes, and then go and use it as they would use the word yes in English.  E.g. 'Do you want a cup of coffee? - 'Chai' .. To use 'Chai' ใช่in this sense is incorrect.

I go further in the video to show how many Thais might not fully appreciate what 'yes' means in English which causes much grief with expat managers in the Kingdom as Thais superimpose their meaning of 'Khrap' over 'Yes'.
