Siberian Tiger on the Russian road: Unimpressed by Humans

Slightly undersized, perhaps undernourished, the great beast examines its human neighbours in the cold of Siberia and stalks the road, perhaps starving and looking for a silly roadside jogger to pick off. Humans, after all, are pretty fragile sans technology, and without the use of our inventions we would be somewhat lower down the food chain than this apex predator. This does not stop arrogant humans caging these great wild beasts, crossbreeding them and raising them as big, loving cats. Of course, owners get killed but hey ho, right... :/
