Test for chlorine gas

Watch me do the experiment to test for chlorine gas.

1) Test gas using damp blue litmus paper
2) Positive result - the paper will bleach

If you watch closely you'll see it turn red first due to the production of HCl, but the bleached result is the one that definitely confirms it was chlorine
