An Army infantry soldier socializes with some Afghanistan children that ask for American money, pens, etc etc. that was located near the village of Jawzy in the Kherwar District of Logar province during OEF in 2010 that was recorded with a vintage iPhone 4 during an operation situation that went to the top brass approving the ultimate destruction and abadonment of five very brand-new MATVs & MRAPs that all got extremely stuck and sat there for three days like sitting ducks. Brass was going to carry on with airstrikes if the unit could not get trucks unstuck by the next day. Such an order was given dud to the extremely hostile environment as LLVI chatter revealed hundreds of fighters were congregating & organizing to overrun the stuck platoon and take the trucks. With them having our location dialed in due to the length of being in one terrible low spot, they were going to shell the area prior to ambush. Luckily, all of the vehicles were unstuck before an attack occurred and before any air mission was off the ground for the ultimate annihilation of all of the five v1.0 MATV’s which each had less than 500 total driven miles on the odometer. Was a somewhat classified vehicle still at the time which would have been the worst OPSEC incident at the time if the Taliban got their hands on one.
