How to Make a Styling Clay Pomade - Matte Finish DIY

This video shows you how to create a matte hold styling clay using kaolin clay.

Here are the ingredients.  Go ahead and play around with the amount of beeswax.  Also consider adding another wax like carnauba or candelilla wax for an even more hold!

Styling Clay
BTMS-50:  6 grams
Beeswax:  7 grams
Grapeseed Oil:  10 grams
Castor Jelly:  13 grams
Lanolin:  1 gram
Coco Butter:  5 gams
Vitamin E:  .5 grams
Kaolin Clay:  2 grams

Peppermint:  2 drops
Eucalyptus:  3 drops
Frankincense:  4 drops
Myrrh: 5 drops
