The Whirlwind Season is based on a famous novel of writer Nguyen Quang Sang which talks about revolutionary spirit of Northern people against oppression of the enemies and their intention to relocate people accomodation in order to set up strategic hamlets.
This struggle has gone through many difficulties and challenges, even sacrifices and losses. Finally, our people achieve the victory. Taking everything into account, this movie reflects truthfully the national liberation movement of Vietnamese people under the leadership of the Communist Party.
