This is the way I
This is the way I like to change the thermostats on the 3.8 liter engines. The main difference is how I manage getting the cooling system "drained" to swap it out. It saves quite a bit of time.
This applies to any GM 3.8 L / 3800 Series I II III (One, Two, or Three) 1, 2, or 3.
L36, L26, L67, L32
Common vehicles with the 3800:
Pontiac: Grand Prix, Bonneville, Firebird
Chevy/Chevrolet: Impala, Monte Carlo, Camaro
Buick: Regal, LeSabre, Park Ave, Century, Riviera, Reatta
Oldsmobile: Silhouette
