On the evening of April 26th, 2009, 25 year-old Heather Allen Strube arrived at a Target store parking lot to pick up her infant son. However, this short custody exchange suddenly took a dark turn as soon as her ex-husband left and there was a single gunshot that echoed through the parking lot. Even though many witnesses saw the crime unfold in front of their eyes, yet it wasn’t going to be so easy to nab the killer.
