From the Low Temperature Lab: Quantum Levitation on a roller-coaster loop-the-loop track!
A flux-pinning enhanced superconducting puck is pinned to a magnetic loop-the-loop track, levitating above it and suspended below it. This demonstrates the quantum physical effect of superconductivity and the Meissner Effect as well as magnetic flux pinning.
