It wasn't until his twenties that Tom Ebeyer realized that his brain worked differently than others. That's when he discovered that there is such a thing as a mind's eye — and he didn't have one.

Tom has aphantasia, a rare condition where people are unable to visualize things in their mind.

For years, the phenomenon had no name, and Tom felt alone in his experiences. But when he learned about a neurologist in the United Kingdom who was researching a mystery condition that sounded similar to his own, it opened up a new world that would change his life.

The Aphantasia Network is the leading community platform for exploring Aphantasia Life: https://aphantasia.com/
