Part 5: Make custom cherry plywood for your woodblock print project! This video documents the first time making my own, and I hope you can learn from it. I am using these plywood blocks for printmaking, but a similar process can be used for whatever you need. Big thanks to Karen Pittman of Vivid Laboratories for the guidance! Material List:
- 1/4 inch cherry thins (or whatever thickness / wood you need)
- 1/2 inch plywood (for the core)
- Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue (waterproof)
- C-clamps
- Other tools - saw, sander, etc.
