Singapore International Jewelry Expo features over 280 jewellers, manufacturers from 28 countries

More investors are buying precious stones as an alternative asset amid a cloudy economic outlook. Some jewellers at the Singapore International Jewelry Expo said sales have doubled this year. The exhibition is the region's largest, drawing firms from 28 countries. Up to 10,000 visitors are expected to visit the exhibition over four days. Mr Ho Nai Chuen, president of the Singapore Jewellers Association, shared more about jewellery and gemstone investment.
