Join us on a little
Join us on a little journey around Lucca, A Tuscan City in Italy! What a beautiful place Lucca is! We give you a tour of the lovely Airbnb we have for our 4 days here - it is right in heart of this Tuscan city and has the most beautiful views onto the neighbourhood.
We have a little 'Cook with Jess' episode where we cook up a tasty vegan Tofu Scramble right in our little kitchen in our new Air BNB apartment! We also dine in a fully vegan eatery in Lucca, such a good find and right round the corner from where we are staying. We discover Cecina, which is a Tuscan delicacy that is accidentally vegan. And is absolutely delicious and our new favourite thing!
We show you a couple of fun and interesting things to do in Lucca, like visit the Cathedral di San Martino that holds priceless artworks including a Tintoretto, and the unexpected Church of Saint Mary Foris Portam, where we find Jay’s foot twin! We also visit the truly stunning Palazzo Pfanner, which has gardens so wonderful it’s like they are from a movie (which they actually are!). We eat some lovely vegan pasta after a bit of a search, and have a day-making encounter with three happy shi-tzus. We hope you enjoy this look into this small gorgeous Italian city, which is a little off the beaten path yet has so much to offer! Oh, and Jay get's a haircut :)
