In this video, I’ll show you how to make a delicious and healthy dry fruit roll, perfect for festive occasions! This recipe uses natural sweetness from dates and figs, without any added sugar or milkmaid. It's a simple yet nutritious treat that you can prepare in advance and enjoy with your family.

Ingredients:
- Dates: 150g
- Figs (Anjeer): 75g
- Desiccated Coconut: 25g
- Ghee: 2 tbsp
- Roasted Poppy Seeds: 2 tbsp
- Mixed Dry Fruits (Badam, Pista, Kaju): 75g
- Cardamom Powder: ½ tsp

Method:
1. Preparation of Paste: Start by chopping the dates and figs into small pieces. First, grind the dates in a mixer jar by pulsing them with 1 tablespoon of water until you get a smooth paste. Set this aside. Then, grind the figs with 1 tablespoon of water to make a smooth paste as well.
2. Cooking the Mixture: Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan. Add the date and fig paste to the pan and mix well until the mixture is well combined and starts to thicken slightly.
3. Adding the Ingredients: Stir in the desiccated coconut and chopped dry fruits (badam, pista, kaju). Mix everything thoroughly to ensure even distribution of the ingredients.
4. Flavoring the Mixture: Add 1 tablespoon of roasted poppy seeds, ½ teaspoon of cardamom powder, and the remaining 1 teaspoon of ghee to the mixture. Mix everything together until the ingredients are well combined and fragrant.
5. Shaping the Roll: While the mixture is still warm, transfer it onto a silicone mat. Shape the mixture into a cylindrical roll, ensuring it is even and smooth. Roll the cylinder in the remaining 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds and crushed pista to coat the outside.
6. Setting and Serving: Place the roll in the fridge for 3 hours to set. After 3 hours, slice the roll into circular pieces and serve. This dry fruit roll can be stored in the fridge for up to a week, making it a perfect make-ahead snack for festive occasions.
