clearing the land // starting a homestead from scratch

when we bought our danish homestead this june, the land had been completely abandoned for 25 years.

our small homestead is 2 acres big, and was once a yielding property with fields, fruit gardens and big outbuildings. but now the wild bushes and shrubbery has taken over the land. we want to transform this abandoned homestead into a selfsufficient homestead again. this is the beginning of that journey.

in this series we start our homestead from scratch in the danish countryside.
