Northwestern University Description: Dr. Stein discusses the clinical features of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) in comparison to other bone marrow failure disorders, and how they sometimes transform into other diseases like myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). He explains how these disease share some of the same features and therefore proper diagnosis is critical for treatment decisions.
