INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING A LEAVE-IN BTMS-50 CONDITIONER
Weigh the BTMS-50 and oils into a heat proof container, then place in a double boiler until melted, to a temperature of 70 ̊C . (Use a thermometer to test.)
Heat the distilled water and hydrosol along with humectants to boiling and let cool for a minute. Check the temperature with a thermometer. We want it to be around 70 ̊C . Pour into a larger container that can accommodate your hand mixer or immersion blender.
Pour the oil phase into the water phase, and mix well with a hand mixer for about 5 minutes.
