02 - Login to server use putty - How to install WordPress on Amazon Lightsail in AWS

Previously (lesson 01) we created our server and launched our website on WordPress. In this lesson, I will show you how to login on to the server using the well-known putty tool. 1. Download the putty program and install it 2. Navigate to the Amazon Lightsail account, select instances, and hit the link label name "go to the Account page". 3. Press the Download default key button and download private key 4. Run Puttygen 5. Load the default private key, 6. Save as private key with ppk extension 7. Run putty 8. In the hostname field, type bitnami @ [addressIP] The IP address is the public server address. (see your connect in Amazon Lightsail) 9. Expand the tree on the left and open the auth branch And click on the browser button and select the saved private key ppk Return to the session branch and save the session under any name 11.
