Joshua Tree First-timers take on Tent Camping in the California Desert

Our first time camping in Joshua Tree was an adventure. We had no plans, no camping reservation and no idea what we were in for. Those are the best trips though, right? We brought our two small dogs for a trip full of desert cacti, beautiful rock formations, and lots and lots of heat.

Where we stayed: White Tank
What we did: Geology Tour road, Arch Rock, Park Valley view, 29 Palms.
