The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41 126334 is a 41mm stainless steel and 18-karat white gold successor to the Datejust II. Launched at Baselworld 2016, the Datejust 41 improves upon the proportions and mechanical movement technology of the Datejust 2.
A Rolex "Wimbledon" dial is the calling card of this model. Launched on the Datejust II and retained for the Datejust 41, the Wimbledon dial is a signature of the large Datejust series. The design begins with a sunburst base coated with dark rhodium. Transferred green Roman numerals, a gold index at 9 o'clock, and minimal application of Rolex Chromalite luminance paint complete the dial execution.
Rolex's Datejust 41 employs a Rolex 904L stainless steel case with an 18-karat white gold fluted bezel. The bezel, properly speaking, is "grey gold," a watch industry term for 18K white gold that never requires rhodium plating; it's silver-white to its core. The 904L stainless steel offers superior resistance to corrosion
Our Datejust 41 126334 incorporates a three link Rolex Oyster bracelet with a folding Rolex Oyster clasp. Rolex Easylink tool-free adjustment permits 5mm of extension or retraction of bracelet length for a precise fit. Solid center links (SCL) and solid end links (SEL) are standard on the modern Oyster bracelet.
Inside the 100-meter water resistant Oyster case and protected by a screw-down Twinlock crown, a Rolex manufacture caliber 3235 keeps the time. This COSC certified Swiss chronometer has been tested as a complete watch in order to achieve Rolex's "Superlative Chronometer" attestation and the precision of +2/-2 seconds per day that Rolex claims.
The Rolex 3235 includes automatic winding and a 70 hour power reserve. It pivots on 31 jewels and meters its power through an advanced LIGA etched Rolex "Chronergy" escapement that enhances both accuracy and power reserve. A Quickset date and hacking seconds (stop seconds) round out the functions of the caliber 3235. Additional refinements include a Breguet overcoil hairspring in Rolex Parachrom Blue antimagnetic alloy and a full balance bridge with free sprung balance for shock resistance.
