Ten years after the Miracle
Ten years after the Miracle in Cleveland, Michelle Knight, who now goes by Lily Rose Lee, is moving forward by tapping into her true passion: Rescuing animals.
It's called "Tragedy to Triumph," which is set for Sunday, May 7, at Windows on the River in Cleveland.
There, she'll speak about the woman she's become after suffering unimaginable torture at the hands of Ariel Castro on Cleveland’s Seymour Avenue, how she found the strength to move forward and why she started her non-profit, Unleashed Animal Rescue.
“Unleashed Animal Rescue is a place where everybody can come and enjoy the animals whether or not they adopt or not. The animals definitely get a sense of socializing. They are able to see different people. They get to interact," said Lily Rose.
