Was Animal Crossing 'ABANDONED'? | Liss + Katie Cozyway

A lot of people felt that Animal Crossing: New Horizons was incomplete at launch, and plenty of others feels that the game was totally abandoned after the 2.0 update. Should ACNH have been updated continually, similar to Pocket Camp? Why did the updates roll out the way they did?
