Quartz Watches Don't SUCK: Best Quartz Watches Affordable - Luxury. There is this big misconception in the watch world that all quartz is created equally and quartz is inferior to mechanical timepieces. But this just is NOT true. Quartz is NOT all created equally and there are so many watches that are blowing away this category. So that's what we are talking about today!
So there is the most accurate quartz: Citizen and the Calibre 0100 with +1 seconds PER YEAR. Then we have conventional affordable quarts: Timex Q Timex and Tissot PRX. Then we have brands really innovating in the space - creating hybrids like Seiko and Grand Seiko, most notably with the Spring Drive. And lastly, we have the high end interpretation of quartz and that has to be the FP Journe Elegante.
Those are my favourite quartz watches THAT DON'T SUCK! Did I miss anything big?! I feel like Cartier really should be on this list. BIG SWING AND MISS BRITT.
