The fried artichokes are a typical recipe of the Apulian cuisine in Italy, inevitable on Sunday and as an appetizer for the Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays. Fried artichokes are quick and easy if you follow our steps and tricks to make them perfect. We show you an excellent eggs batter, which you can propose every time you have to fry in order to get perfect and light frying.
Ingredients for making Italian fried artichokes
• 6 artichokes
• 2 eggs
• 100 gr of 0 flour
• 2 pinches of salt
• 30 ml of water
• Pepper
• Half lemon juice
• Peanut seed oil 500 ml
How to prepare fried artichokes:
1. Clean the artichokes by putting them in the water and lemon so as not to oxidize them
2. Cut them into slices
3. Prepare the batter for crispy frying or if you prefer put them only in flour and beaten egg
4. Fry the artichokes until golden brown
