The First Cliff Walk is
The First Cliff Walk is around 15 minutes round tour where you will see a breath taking view of Eiger and the valley to the alpine pastures and the waterfalls. This circular trail will take you to the lookout platform along a steeply sloping rock face, at a dizzying height. To get to this place you need to take the gondola from Grindelwald and come up to the summit station. It is very close to the summit station.
In addition to the First Cliff Walk, you can do a lot of other activities in Grindelwald. In addition to hiking in different locations in the area, you can participate in some ziplining and biking activities. You can choose how many activities you want to participate in Grindelwald. There are 4 activities during the summer time: First Flyer, First Glider, Mountain Cart and Trottibike. The current full prices for these activities are provided below:
1 activity CHF 74 (around $77)
2 activities CHF 89 (around $93)
3 activities CHF 106 (around $110)
4 activities CHF 120 (around $125)
We recently had a 3 day tour of Switzerland. On our first day, we went to Jungfraujoch in the morning. Jungfraujoch is one of the most visited places in Switzerland. This is the highest railroad station at 3,454 meters (11,332 feet). There is a fast elevator which takes you to the high viewing platform called Sphinx. On a clear day, the view from the Sphinx can extend up to Vosges in France and to Black Forest in Germany. The Aletsch glacier is 22 kilometers (14 miles) long and is Europe's largest glacier.
If you are living in the Interlaken region, then there are two different routes to go to Jungfraujoch. One route goes through Lauterbrunnen and the other goes through Grindelwald. Both routes have stunning views. You can choose to go on one route and come back on the other route. The Lauterbrunnen route involves only trains. In the Grindelwald route, you can take the train or take the new Eiger Express Gondola to reach Jungfraujoch. Please watch the following video of Jungfraujoch to learn about the place.

If you are planning to visit Switzerland, then I would suggest to spend a whole day in the Lauterbrunnen area. There are lot of things you can do there. The beautiful Lauterbrunnen valley has 72 waterfalls! J.R.R. Tolkien, writer of Lord of the Rings, is believed to have drawn inspiration from this valley to create the mythical place called Rivendell. This area has the best hiking trail I have ever seen. On our day two in Switzerland, we visited Grindelwald. You will need at least a full day to enjoy Grindelwald. From Grindelwald, we purchased tickets for the activities for Grindelwald First. You will have to take the gondola to reach there. The First Cliff Walk is very close to the Summit Station. From the terrace you can get the spectacular view of the Eiger, the alpine pastures and waterfalls. The major activities in Grindelwald First are: Mountain Cart, Trott biking, ziplining and paragliding. Please watch the following videos on what you can do in Grindelwald.

Interlaken is a Beautiful Swiss town in Bern, Switzerland. The town is located between two lakes, Brienz to the east and Thun to the west. Many tourists who visit Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Jungraujoch choose to stay in this town as all those places are easily accessible by train from Interlaken Ost Station. You can easily visit the popular high Alpine peaks of Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau.
