2022 Silverado MultiFlex or Sierra MultiPro Tailgate Wont Open - Hack to fix

UPDATE: 5/3/22...Just got some new information from a GM rep in training today that many dealers/customers are experiencing issues with the 2022+ Mult-Flex / Multi-Pro upper portion tailgate locking feature NOT working when in fact it should work and it even shows you this method in the owners manual. SO if this method works for you then great but if it does not...I would wait it out and see if they can resolve the issue soon or possibly look into the Curt no-splice Multi-Flex / Multi-Pro Tailgate Sensor Kit instead. Essentially if you have a 2022+ Silverado/Sierra with push-button start (WILL NOT WORK NO MATTER WHAT ON TRUCKS WITH TURN KEYS) then you should be able to follow my video and be able to lock and unlock the upper portion of your flex/pro tailgate. PLEASE COMMENT if this WORKS or does NOT work for you and let me know what year, make, model and trim level your truck is to see what kind of info we can get on success/fail rates.
