L.L. takes the Walther PPK/s .22LR for a spin. A replica of the classic James Bond 007 Walther PPK.
Our PPK/s features a nickel finish (model no. 5030320) and came with a 10 round steel magazine. Comes factory with a threaded barrel so it's just begging to be suppressed. We have a Hughes Precision threaded adaptor and added a Quiet Bore Form 1 .22 suppressor. The manufacture date of our PPK/s is mid-2019.
This pistol is fairly picky with the ammunition we feed it. This little thing has a bit of heft so you will need some hotter or full power .22LR loads to ensure proper cycling of the slide. We had numerous issues with Winchester white box '555' bulk ammo and CCI Quiet-22 Semi-Auto, lots of stove pipes, double feeds, and FTE. Rather, it favored the Aguila Super Extra, CCI Blazer, CCI Mini Mags, and American Eagle Suppressor Subsonic rounds. Bottom line is to avoid cheap bulk ammo for this application.
Made in Germany, inexpensive ($300-$350), and just down right fun to plink with. Just make sure you get some quality ammo to ensure it runs reliably. Don't forget to get a suppressor for it too ;)
