Why'd The Dad Die? (The Lion King)

Simba goes through a similar story that many people go through. Perhaps not with all of the king stuff and the uncle murdering your father to inherit the throne. But people do experience great tragedy. And I am sure there was a specific moment you can re-call in your childhood when you broke. When ignorance was destroyed and deep pain set in. Simba spends his time like most, ignoring the problem hoping it will go away. But by the end, he is reminded by his father of who he was and who he is supposed to be. This is what Christ provides to us so that we too can be repaired.
