Marutham village Resort is located close to Mahabalipuram , in a village area ... hence promising visitors a laid back atmosphere .
The Resort is also themed like a Village ,with rooms and cottages across "Three streets ".
The swimming pool ( 4 ft deep) resembles a temple pond ! An artificial water fall supplies water to the pool .
Athangudi tiles are seen everywhere on the resort common areas and they add good colour .
We liked the morning coffee served on the stall carts . Night food also is served outside on the stall cards as well as inside the Restaurant .
The Restaurant serves also typical Tamil Nadu delicacies as well as Pan Indian food .
Kids will enjoy the waterfall pool .. Bullock cart ride to a village , Pump set tank pool , Clay pot making are some activities that can be enjoyed by all .
This place is good to unwind, with family and kids, to enjoy the ambience and the good food !
