Forward flow testing of a backflow preventer

Using the wrong gage, note the scale is 0 to150 psi. When reading flows with pitot tubes, the target pressure should be somewhere near the center 1/3 of the  Guage. This one was 6 inch discharge which we were only needing  a reading of 2 psi and the gage only read 3 psi, not accurate enough. The test was to be performed using a 0 to 15 lb gage scale at the largest.
