Driving Microgrid Success: How a Strategic Partnership Enabled Sustainability and Economic Benefits

With an estimated annual production of 2,098,383 kWh, this community solar microgrid will generate clean, renewable energy, offsetting nearly 3.3 million pounds of CO₂ emissions annually. Almost 300 homes' annual electricity usage will be powered by the microgrid, underscoring Heila's commitment to sustainable energy solutions and environmental stewardship. The project is also part of the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) Program.
