II-Install
-step 1: Copy folder Plugins And then Paste to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2024\
-step 2: Copy file in folder Icons And then type new explore bar: %localappdata% go to \Autodesk\3dsMax\2024 - 64bit\ENU\usericons Paste file here
-step 3: Copy file in folder MacroScripts And Paste to \Autodesk\Local\3dsMax\2024 - 64bit\ENU\usermacros
III-Create New Toolbar In 3ds max
-Select Customize\Customize User Interface...
Locate the Category "DIMaster", drag the items (DIMline, DIMangle, DIMnote ...) to a toolbar, or to a menu\QuadMenu or assign to keys
- Save the Customized GUI
- Click any of the icons and click in the viewport to start creating...
IV-How To Use It
-Units Setup... ((Customize \Units Setup\ System Unit Setup\ Centimeters)\ok\ok
-Display Unit Scale and Generic Units will discus later
-Reset Max for Activate the unit scale
-Download model from choas cosmos browser : Shelf 96-18
-Can test only one scene ((mm cm or m ))
-Display Unit Scale first test (( cm or mm (precision:0 Decimals ))))((m (precision:2 Decimals)))
***Note for mm system unit scale must reset up scene
»DIMaster 2.0 is a toolbox providing three scripted plug-ins for creating architectural and engineering dimension lines, angle measurements and notes, as well as tools for the management of large numbers of these objects.
DIMaster consists of multiple scripted plug-ins and utilities.
The three object types can be created using MacroScripts found in the "DIMaster" category of the Customize User Interface dialog. This means that
You can place the action items on toolbars as icons;
You can place the action items in menus or Quad Menus;
You can assign the action items to keyboard shortcuts for fast access.
A system for saving setting to preset files and combining them to Preference sets which can be used to quickly change the defaults of any newly created objects. See Saving Settings And Creating Preferences for details.
A system for copying any number of settings between DIMaster objects in the scene. See Transferring Settings for details.
»The dimension line and angle objects can also be used as replacement of the Tape and Protractor helpers and can not only measure distances and angles, but also help you construct new points in space at a given distance and/or angle from existing points.
»The note tool can display user notes, world and parent space positions and velocities, as well as any property of a scene object that are accessible to MAXScript.
»You can create dimensions for a variety of object types in many orientations. Linear dimensions can be horizontal, vertical, aligned, rotated.
»You can access the dimensioning tools from free scripts.
»The Linear dimension tool measures horizontal or vertical distances. To create Linear dimensions click the points 1, then 2 to identify the element to be dimensioned.
The Angular dimension tool measures an angle between two objects.
