It is critical that all structural engineers understand how to draw Bending Moment and Shear Force Diagrams. Most structural designs relay on knowing the correct shear force and bending moment. This video will provide the basics on how to draw these diagrams, what bending moments and shear forces actually represent, and the relationship between the shear force,  bending moments, and applied loads.
