15 March 2024 Strawberry Strudel Loaf Cake

Strawberry Strudel Loaf Cake recipe:

2 sticks salted softened butter
2 c sugar
2 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
2 egg whites
2 c all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp canola oil ( or oil of your choice)
1 tsp Molina vanilla blend flavor or vanilla extract
2 tsp strawberry extract
3/4 c room temperature milk
1  1/2 c strawberries blended into a purée / add 3 or 4 tsp of sugar. 3/4 c of the purée sauce was used in the recipe. Save 1/3 cup of purée sauce for finishing touch topping on loaf cake. TIP: for more of a suck it to me taste add a tbsp of lemon juice to your purée sauce.

Glaze:

2  1/2 c powder sugar
1 tbsp softened or melted butter
2 to 3 tbsp of milk
1/2 tsp strawberry extract
1/8 tsp Molina vanilla blend flavor or vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
