The SCARIEST Time Of ALL On Our NARROWBOAT | WINTER On The LLANGOLLEN CANAL Pt 7 Ep 56

DO NOT attempt to cross the world's highest aqueduct in high winds! There was no turning back, and we will NEVER do it again!  We took our narrowboat across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, the world's highest canal aqueduct on the Llangollen Canal, in crazy high winds, after making a snap decision to just go for it!  The wind hadn't seemed too bad up until our narrowboat was already on the aqueduct, when the gusts were ridiculous, and coming sweeping down the valley.  Thankfully we made it across, just scared and very cold.  After far too much unplanned excitement, we continued our winter narrowboat adventure on the stunning Llangollen Canal, over the next couple of weeks mooring at The Poachers at Chirk and at the bottom of New Marton Locks.  Join us for that far more relaxing cruise!
